The Clash of the Beatmakers contest is open to Music Producers located in the United States. 

 

How to Enter:

 

To enter, access the http://www.clashofthebeatmakers.com website (the Clash of the Beatmakers website), complete and submit your contact form. You must provide a reference of your production samples electronically; no hard copies will be accepted.

 

16 Music Producers will be selected to compete in the 5-round contest, Clash of the Beatmakers, which will be judged by  Music Industry Professionals. In round one each Music Producer will have a chance to play a 60-second beat to showcase their work. Of the 16 Music Producers only eight will advance to the next round.

 

In round two, eight Music Producers will have a chance to play a 45-second beat for the Judges. In the event of a tie*, based on the Judges’ discretion, the Music Producers will get one more opportunity to play a 30-second beat to advance to round three. Of the eight Music Producers only four will advance to the next round.

In round three, four Music Producers will have a chance to play a 45-second beat for the Judges. In the event of a tie*, based on the Judges’ discretion, the Music Producers will get one more opportunity to play a 30-second beat to advance to the next  round. Of the four Music Producers, only 2 will advance to the championship round.

 

Round four, is the round that will determine the third place winner. The two contestants that were eliminated in round three will have a chance to play a 45-second beat for the Judges. In the event of a tie, based on the Judges’ discretion, the Music Producers will get one more opportunity to play a 30-second beat, the judges will determine who the third place winner will be.

 

In the Championship (Round Five) the last two standing Music Producers will have one last chance to play a 45-second beat for the Judges. The Judges will then provide feedback on the overall performance of each Music Producer and will be responsible for choosing the winner.

 

*There will be a limit of one tie breaker in each set, per each round. 

 

Prize Drawing: First place winner will receive $1,000.00 cash prize.
